Almost half of all Australian’s suffer from mental health disorders during their lifetime.

The World Health Organisation defines mental health as “a state of well-being in which an individual realises his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.”

While we all strive for good mental wellbeing, the stresses of life can sometimes become unmanageable and mental health support is required.

Our compassionate doctors are here to support you and we are committed to helping you manage your mental wellbeing.

We emphasise the importance of making a mental health assessment appointment if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:

- Depression

- Anxiety

- Feeling blue

- Excessive worrying

- Difficulty relaxing

- Sleep disturbances

- Suicidal thoughts

- Substance abuse

During the mental health assessment, our reassuring doctors will listen carefully to your concerns recommend a suitable treatment plan.

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please call lifeline or visit the local emergency hospital.
